Dear IPPA Members,

It is with great excitement that I share the wonderful news that the 10th IPPA World Congress on Positive Psychology will be held in Istanbul, Türkiye, from July 7–10, 2027! Guided by the theme, Where Cultures Meet, Humanity Flourishes, this Congress will bring together our global community to exchange ideas, foster meaningful collaborations, and shape the future of positive psychology and flourishing science.

As we planned this Congress, we listened carefully to member feedback. Many of you encouraged IPPA to bring the World Congress to new shores and to make participation more accessible. Istanbul reflects both aspirations. As we celebrate IPPA’s 20th anniversary and prepare to host our first World Congress outside North America and Australia, we are taking concrete steps to reduce barriers to participation. This includes lowering registration fees and, through the generous support of sponsors, offering bursaries for students and delegates from the Global South whose abstracts are accepted. Our goal is to make this the most globally representative and accessible World Congress in IPPA’s history.
